We are seeking an experienced
Senior/Staff Accountant for a contract opportunity in Kissimmee, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience managing financials for homeowner/community associations and proficiency with
Vantaca software.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare monthly financial statements and account reconciliations
- Perform month-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepaid schedules
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue reporting
- Ensure monthly financial packages are completed and delivered by the 20th of each month
- Manage an assigned portfolio of 20-25 properties, increasing to 37-40 properties within the first 90 days
- Monitor community finances and maintain accurate financial records
Qualifications - 3+ years of accounting experience in a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant role
- HOA, property management, or community association accounting experience strongly preferred
- Experience using Vantaca software required
- Strong understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, AP/AR, accruals, and reconciliations
- Ability to manage multiple entities/properties in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
