Fund Accountant / Analyst to join their Fund Finance accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone with fund accounting, private equity, real estate, or public accounting experience who wants exposure to investment funds, financial reporting, and fund operations. Role will sit in their growing Charlotte, NC office.
What You'll Do- Support fund accounting and financial reporting for investment entities
- Prepare account reconciliations and financial analyses
- Assist with capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting
- Help prepare financial statements and support audits
- Partner with finance, operations, and investor relations teams
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Fund accounting, private equity, real estate, or investment management experience preferred
- Public accounting experience serving financial services clients is a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- CPA or 'CPA candidate' preferred
- Yardi experience is a plus
Ideal Backgrounds- Real estate private equity fund experience
- Private equity fund administration
- Big 4 or regional public accounting firms with private equity or real estate clients
