Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (Flexible Hours)
Pay: $30-$35/hr
Our client is seeking a Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist to support payroll operations and AP functions in a fast-paced environment. This role will primarily focus on weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing while also assisting with invoice processing, vendor payments, and accounting support. Candidates with payroll, AP, accounting, or administrative experience who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.
- Maintain payroll records and employee compensation data.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, pay changes, new hires, and terminations.
- Review payroll reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Process invoices, maintain vendor records, monitor approvals, and prepare payments.
- Review payroll and reimbursement documentation.
- Assist with Excel reporting, data validation, and general accounting support.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with special projects as needed.
Required:- Experience in payroll, accounts payable, accounting support, or administrative roles.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred:- Payroll processing and AP invoice processing experience.
- ERP or accounting software experience.
- Experience with ADP, Microsoft Business Central, or similar systems.
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
- Three-way matching experience is a plus.
Education- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
