We are looking for a project accountant for a great team in Roseville, CA. This would be an onsite position that could be contract-to-hire or Direct hire. Key Responsibilities: - Manage project billing cycles, including preparation and submission of owner billings, lien waivers, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and timely billing.
- Review subcontractor invoices and ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist with monthly project financial reporting and forecasting.
- Maintain organized records for audits and internal reviews.
- Support job cost analysis and budget reconciliation.
Qualifications: - 3+ years of accounting experience in a commercial construction environment.
- Strong understanding of AIA billing formats and construction contracts.
- Proficiency in accounting software (ProCore).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
