Contract Duration6-12 Month Contract with Potential Extension
Key Responsibilities- Support day-to-day administration and optimization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Develop, update, and maintain EHR training materials, user documentation, workflow guides, and reference resources.
- Deliver EHR training and provide ongoing support to healthcare professionals and administrative users.
- Analyze clinical and operational workflows and recommend system enhancements that improve efficiency, compliance, and user experience.
- Coordinate EHR software releases, upgrades, system modifications, and configuration changes.
- Manage EHR enhancement requests from discovery through testing, implementation, and post-deployment support.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and collaborate with stakeholders to validate new functionality.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex EHR application issues and escalated support tickets.
- Work closely with software vendors, support teams, and internal stakeholders to implement solutions and corrective actions.
- Monitor healthcare data interfaces and system integrations to ensure accurate exchange of information across connected applications.
- Maintain system configuration records, change logs, and technical documentation.
- Support EHR security administration, user roles, permissions, and access management activities.
- Participate in healthcare technology projects, EHR governance initiatives, and clinical informatics efforts.
- Collaborate with leadership and departmental stakeholders to improve EHR utilization and system performance.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, Nursing, Public Health, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Associate degree with additional directly related experience may also be considered.
- Minimum of three years of experience supporting Electronic Health Record systems, Healthcare IT, Clinical Applications, Health Information Systems, or Healthcare Technology environments.
- Experience with EHR implementation, EHR support, healthcare software administration, or clinical systems management.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, medical records, and patient information systems.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting public health, community health, ambulatory care, outpatient clinics, or healthcare organizations.
- Background in Clinical Informatics, Health Information Management (HIM), Healthcare Analytics, or Healthcare Technology.
- Experience with software testing, change management, release management, and workflow optimization.
- Knowledge of healthcare system integrations, interfaces, data exchanges, and application configuration.
- Experience developing end-user training programs and facilitating classroom or virtual training sessions.
