About the Role

Human Resources Assistant LHH has partnered with an established property management company in Central San Diego that is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting both Human Resources and day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dependable, and comfortable balancing human resources, operations and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
  • Support recruiting efforts including candidate communications, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee documentation
  • Maintain employee records and assist with HR compliance initiatives and audits
  • Provide administrative support for HR, operations, and property management teams
  • Assist with vendor communications, contracts, and service-related follow-up
  • Support accounting functions including invoice processing, tracking expenses, and administrative reporting
  • Assist with property management projects, tenant communications, and operational coordination as needed
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers, and documentation while ensuring confidentiality
  • Support special projects and help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, administration, property management, operations, or a related field
  • Experience supporting onboarding, employee documentation, or HR processes preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience working with vendors, invoices, accounting support, or property management operations is a plus
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently and collaboratively
Compensation
  • $25.00/hour
  • Contract-to-Hire

Schedule:
  • 100% Onsite
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Office located in Central San Diego

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
