About the Role

Maintenance Technician Location: High Point, NC Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM Work Environment: 100% Onsite Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and complete safe, efficient repairs to support reliable facility and production operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery, pumps, and facility systems.
  • Complete maintenance work orders accurately and on time.
  • Document repair materials, parts, and supplies to support inventory control.
  • Follow all environmental, regulatory, and safety procedures.
  • Report potential safety hazards or equipment concerns to management.
  • Complete welding, fabrication, and metalworking projects as needed.
  • Perform general building maintenance, including painting, carpentry, and concrete work.
  • Safely operate maintenance equipment and power tools.
  • Assist with facility upkeep and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical certification or maintenance-related degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience may substitute for technical education.
  • Experience with welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and mechanical repairs.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting practices.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Desired Skills
  • Experience maintaining pumps, piping, and industrial equipment.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, drill presses, and pipe equipment.
  • Forklift experience or ability to become certified.
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently with strong safety awareness.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and perform physical labor.
  • Lift, carry, push, or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Climb ladders and access elevated work areas.
  • Work in confined spaces as needed.
  • Wear required PPE, including protective suits and supplied-air respirators.
  • Operate a company vehicle when needed.
Work Environment
  • Work in an industrial manufacturing setting.
  • May work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Pay Details: $52,000.00 to $53,000.00 per year
