Human Resources Generalist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching a Human Resources Generalist to support employee development, staffing strategies, and engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for a collaborative HR professional who enjoys building relationships, supporting leaders, and using data to improve the employee experience. This is a permanent opportunity for a growing company on the Southside of Richmond, Virginia, working in the office.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with managers, supervisors, and leads to support employee development, coaching, and department staffing strategies.
• Manage and participate in 30-60-90 day meetings and annual employee development meetings.
• Track employee progress toward development goals and recommend training or assessments as needed.
• Analyze employee experience data, including KPIs, surveys, reviews, check-ins, and exit interviews, to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate candidates for culture fit and support community engagement initiatives as time permits.
• Provide guidance and training to leaders on development processes, process changes, and employee experience initiatives.
• Serve as an active team player, supporting the department as needs and priorities evolve.
Qualifications
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, unbiased, and supportive in working with employees and leaders.
• Proven ability to build relationships with new and existing employees.
• Positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to support the team where needed.
• Experience with HR systems, employee development programs, training, coaching, or people operations is a plus.
Permanent Salary Range: $80,000 to $85,000
