We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized
Accounting Clerk to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general administrative accounting functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with numbers.
Key Responsibilities- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Generate and distribute customer invoices and assist with accounts receivable collections.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
- Enter and maintain accurate financial data within the accounting system.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare journal entries and support account reconciliations.
- Review financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organized electronic accounting records and documentation.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account status.
- Support additional accounting and administrative projects as assigned.
Qualifications- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets and basic formulas.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
