About the Role

Job Title: Logistics and Sample Coordinator
Location: Somerville, NJ
Type of Employment: Temporary, 3 Months
In Office/Hybrid/Remote: In Office
Hourly : $28/hr - $31/hr based on years of related experience
Job Summary:
LHH is partnering with food manufacturing organization in Somerville, NJ to hire a temporary Logistics and Sample Coordinator on a temporary basis for 3 months. This position is onsite Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week. The qualified candidate should have prior corporate supply chain and/or inventory management experience (Internship experience acceptable) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities :
  • Coordinate and manage product shipments from the corporate headquarters in France to ensure optimal inventory levels and a consistent supply flow.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for imports, collaborating with suppliers, customs brokers, and warehouse partners.
  • Enter and update inventory, shipping, and receiving data within company systems.
  • Partner closely with the U.S. Supply Chain Manager and French Supply Chain Coordinators to support inventory planning and stock availability.
  • Assist in overseeing three third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses by auditing invoices for contract compliance and helping reduce product damage and loss.
  • Perform month-end inventory reconciliations between company records and 3PL warehouse inventories.
  • Generate and distribute weekly and monthly inventory reports, including stock status and balance analyses.
  • Coordinate the preparation and shipment of product samples to customers.
  • Support additional operational initiatives and special projects as assigned by management.
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably within supply chain and logistics
  • Prior supply chain and logistics or inventory management experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
Pay Details: $28.00 to $31.00 per hour
