Our client is a mid-sized manufacturing corporation looking to hire a Senior Accountant for their team due to an internal promotion. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in Accounting along with four years of accounting experience. You will work with the Accounting Manager to provide detailed, accurate financial reporting. This is a terrific opportunity to join a sizable corporation that promotes from within. This is a full-time onsite position offering a salary of $90,000 to $110,000. They offer a comprehensive benefits package including health and life insurance, PTO, 401k match.
Responsibilities for the Accountant job include:· Compile and analyze financial data for general ledger entries
· Assist in the monthly preparation of financial statements
· External audit preparation and support
· Cost analysis and reporting
· Involvement in ad hoc projects as necessary
Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree in Accounting
· Four or more years of accounting experience, preferably some public accounting
· Strong GAAP exposure, public company background is a plus
· Strong technical aptitude, must know Pivot Tables, VLookups in Excel
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
