They are a $400 million, international business and growing their accounting team by hiring for a Staff Accountant position. You will work alongside the Accounting Manager and Controller of this international corporation and will be involved across their entire accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for an early career Accountant to grow and develop their skills. The company also offers a generous benefits plan that includes health insurance, a 401K with a match and a generous year-end bonus. This is a permanent position paying in the range of $70,000 - $80,000 in salary. They are working a hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
Responsibilities include:· General accounting; reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement preparation
· Involvement in all month end close activities, ensuring strict GAAP compliance
· Utilizing Excel extensively for reporting purposes in addition to their G/L system
· Ad hoc responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance plus 2+ years of work experience in Accounting,
· Public accounting experience is a plus, but not required
· Strong Excel skills required (Pivots, Lookups, advanced formulas)
· Must have a can do attitude and excited about joining a growing company
