About the Role

JOB DESCRIPTION In-Person Systems Trainer (ADP Workforce / Timekeeping) - Part Time LHH is seeking experienced Systems Trainers to support a major utility company's rollout of a new employee time-entry system. Trainers will provide in-person instruction to union-represented employees, helping them confidently navigate ADP Workforce/WorkForce Software and complete daily timekeeping activities. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced trainers, HRIS professionals, workforce management consultants, and systems implementation specialists seeking a short-term project with guaranteed weekly compensation. Assignment Details
  • Project Duration: October 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026
  • Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Training Delivery: Two 90-minute instructor-led sessions per day
  • Start Time: First session may begin as early as 7:00 AM
  • Work Arrangement: 100% onsite
  • Travel: Travel between assigned locations within the region is required
Location & Pay
  • Braintree, MA: $60-$70/hour
  • Marlborough, MA: $58-$68/hour
  • Hicksville, NY: $55-$62/hour
  • Syracuse, NY: $50-$60/hour
Hours & Compensation This assignment offers a flexible schedule with guaranteed compensation.
  • Trainers will typically work approximately 9-15 hours per week
  • Actual classroom delivery is expected to total approximately 9 hours weekly
  • Additional time may be spent on preparation, coordination, and project-related activities
  • All trainers are guaranteed payment for 20 hours per week regardless of actual hours worked
  • Consistent weekly earnings are guaranteed throughout the duration of the assignment
What You'll Do
  • Deliver instructor-led training using project-provided training materials
  • Teach employees how to enter and manage time within ADP Workforce/WorkForce Software
  • Demonstrate system workflows and best practices
  • Guide participants through hands-on exercises
  • Explain system functionality to employees with varying levels of technical proficiency
  • Answer system-related questions and troubleshoot common user challenges
  • Partner with a National Grid employee who will provide operational and process-specific guidance
  • Arrive prepared and ready to facilitate every assigned session
  • Adapt to scheduling changes resulting from weather events or operational needs
Required Qualifications
  • Experience delivering instructor-led training
  • Strong group facilitation and presentation skills
  • Experience training adult learners
  • Experience with ADP Workforce, WorkForce Software, workforce management systems, or employee timekeeping platforms
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Comfortable working with employees of varying technical skill levels
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite
  • Availability to support early-morning training sessions Tuesday through Thursday
  • Commitment to attend all scheduled training sessions and project dates
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience training union-represented employees
  • Utility industry experience
  • Workforce management implementation experience
  • HRIS, Payroll, Time & Attendance, or Workforce Management training experience
  • Change management or systems implementation training experience

Pay Details: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour
