About the Role

A leading client is seeking a Site Operations Manager to oversee a large, industrial/manufacturing campus in Southwest Virginia. This is a dedicated-account leadership opportunity for an experienced operations professional who can take ownership of the property and manage the day-to-day operation as a business.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for the client while directing crews, production, safety, quality, scheduling, equipment, subcontractors, labor, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the day-to-day client relationship, including communication, service planning, issue resolution, customer satisfaction, and identification of enhancement opportunities.
  • Lead seasonal crews and field resources, coordinating staffing, production schedules, equipment, subcontractors, safety, and quality across a complex industrial property.
  • Manage account financial performance, including labor planning, budgeting, productivity, profitability, forecasting, and additional billable work.
  • Maintain high operational standards while proactively identifying opportunities to improve service, efficiency, and client value.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial landscape, grounds, facilities, campus, resort, golf, institutional, industrial, or similar exterior operations.
  • Demonstrated experience owning a significant commercial account, campus, or portfolio with responsibility for revenue, labor, crews, scheduling, and profitability.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing employees, supervisors, subcontractors, and seasonal/H2B labor.
  • Experience with CRM or landscape management software such as Aspire is highly preferred; strong business, organizational, and financial skills are required. Bilingual ability is a plus.
