About the Role

Contract Litigation Attorney (Mandarin Chinese)
Part-Time | Approximately 20 Hours Per Week | DTLA, Hybrid
Compensation: $75 - $90/hr DOE
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a confidential Am Law-caliber litigation firm to identify a Mandarin Chinese-speaking Contract Attorney for a temporary, part-time engagement.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with experience supporting complex litigation, investigations, regulatory matters, or high-stakes business disputes who is seeking flexible project-based work.
The successful candidate will assist with matters involving substantial Mandarin Chinese-language materials and will support attorneys handling sophisticated domestic and international legal matters.
Responsibilities
  • Review, analyze, and summarize documents in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
  • Assist with fact development, document analysis, and case-related investigations.
  • Identify key issues, critical evidence, and relevant factual information from large document sets.
  • Support litigation, investigations, and related legal matters.
  • Prepare document summaries, chronologies, and written work product as assigned.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal teams on case-specific projects.
Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Professional fluency in reading, writing, and speaking Mandarin Chinese.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Complex commercial litigation
    • White collar defense
    • Government or internal investigations
    • SEC, DOJ, FTC, or other regulatory matters
    • Intellectual property litigation
    • Business disputes involving cross-border or international issues
  • Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a remote environment.
Position Details
  • Temporary contract engagement.
  • Approximately 20 hours per week.
  • Remote work arrangement anticipated, subject to final client confirmation.
  • Flexible schedule based on project demands.
Compensation
$75.00 - $90.00 per hour
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by applicable law.
