About the Role

A prestigious global law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Secretary to join its downtown San Francisco office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation support professional to join a growing Intellectual Property Litigation team and play a key role in supporting attorneys in a fast-paced, high-profile practice. This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite and 2 days remote).
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced administrative and litigation support to IP Litigation attorneys.
  • Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents in state and federal courts.
  • Coordinate court filings, hearings, depositions, trials, and travel arrangements.
  • Manage attorney calendars, client communications, billing, and matter administration.
  • Assist with new matter intake, conflict checks, engagement letters, and file management.
  • Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, reports, and other legal documents.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of law firm experience as a Legal Secretary, Practice Assistant, or similar role.
  • IP Litigation experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems.
  • Exceptional organizational, proofreading, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to support multiple attorneys in a deadline-driven environment.
