LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading law firm to recruit an experienced manager of legal recruiting. This full time role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in legal recruitment, preferably within a law firm environment. The position requires at least seven years of experience and a proven ability to lead hiring strategies, manage recruitment processes, and build strong relationships with attorneys, candidates, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage full cycle recruiting strategies for attorneys and legal staff
- Oversee lateral attorney hiring, law school outreach, and summer associate programs
- Partner with firm leadership to assess staffing needs and create targeted recruitment plans
- Manage candidate screening, interview coordination, offer processes, and onboarding
- Maintain strong relationships with search firms, law schools, and professional organizations
- Monitor recruiting metrics and prepare reports for leadership
- Ensure compliance with hiring policies and maintain accurate recruitment records
- Coordinate recruitment events, job fairs, and networking initiatives
- Collaborate with human resources, professional development, and practice group leaders to support firm wide talent initiatives
Qualifications: - Minimum of seven years of legal recruiting experience
- Prior law firm recruiting experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage high volume and senior level recruitment needs
- Strong understanding of the legal market and attorney hiring trends
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with attorneys and leadership
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruiting tools, and Microsoft Office
- Professional presence, sound judgment, and ability to maintain confidential information
