About the Role

Insight Global is seeking an OSP Engineer is responsible for designing, provisioning, and supporting highcapacity telecom services across fiber and copper transport networks, including TDM (T1/T3), Ethernet, and Dark Fiber.This role focuses on engineering and building services in TIRKS, performing circuit and transport design across legacy, SONET, GPON, and fiber networks, and managing equipment configurations, port assignments, and capacity creation requests for new builds, upgrades, reconfigurations, and decommissions.

The engineer determines routing for special services, supports circuit additions, relocations, repairs, and rearrangements, and drives engineering issues to resolution by working closely with OSP and ISP engineering, field engineering, sales, CPC, and crossfunctional teams.Unlike a NOCC role, this position is handson in creating and designing the work that feeds construction, with a strong preference for candidates with OSP engineering experience, even if they are still developing TIRKS expertise.Strong communication, organization, and the ability to reprioritize in a fastpaced environment are essential.
