About the Role

Sales Enablement/Instructional Designer – 100% Wfh

The Sales Enablement Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high impact sales training and tools that are experiential, drive behavior change, and increase performance of SVBs client-facing teams. We're looking for a self-driven individual passionate about understanding our sales teams needs and creating agile learning experiences to help them succeed and grow.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Build and maintain valued relationships with key stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external vendors.
  • Work with business leaders to analyze and prioritize strategic capability gaps.
  • State instructional end goals and create engaging content that matches them.
  • Analyze the functionality of available tools and advise on how to fulfill business goals in a scalable and innovative way.
  • Establish and administer best practice user experience policies for delivering curriculum to SVB sales teams.
  • Design and execute user experiences for a variety of delivery channels: eLearning, blended learning, game-based learning, instructor-led learning and performance support tools.
  • Apply agile development methodologies to maintain a constant stream of iterative enablement resources that evolve with the needs of the sales teams.
  • Represent Sales Enablement in meetings with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Establish and maintain project timelines.
  • Build and maintain appropriate learning and support materials.
  • Coach and mentor Sales Enablement Multimedia Developer (s) or external vendors.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in Instructional Design – experience with graphic design, instructional technology
  • Expertise in building effective sales training content
  • Expertise in software to create the content (Articulate Rise, Storyline, iMovie, Adobe Creative Suite, Power Point, Google Slides, Sketch, etc.)
  • Demonstrated impact in Sales Enablement or effective results from training materials
  • Preferred experience in Banking, Financial Services, Technology or Professional Services
