About the Role
Registered Landscape Architect
This position is responsible for assisting in landscape design and development, site engineering, and planning-related work. Starts to perform assignments independently or with a lessening degree of supervision with instruction as to the general results expected and with guidance from the other professionals on unusual or complex problems. This position requires a broad knowledge of landscape architecture principles and practices. Candidates must be capable of self-sufficiency and working on all aspects of projects.
Essential Functions
Design related to site development, urban design, park and recreation, and roadway projects
Project management
Proposal preparation
Project and budget coordination
Cost Estimating
Local regulatory permitting – SC Coastal experience preferred.
Oversight of technical specifications and bid documents
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
BLA, BSLA, or MLA degree RLA License Strongly Preferred
Business Development experience preferred 3+ years of experience in the landscape architecture field Strong familiarity with landscape architecture design software, such as Land F/X, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In-Design, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Lumion, and Sketch-Up Valid Driver's Licence
