Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Clarity & Direction – Set clear expectations, align goals with company priorities, and ensure team members know how their work contributes to the bigger picture.
  • Coaching & Growth – Support personal and professional development through regular feedback, mentoring, and career conversations.
  • Performance & Accountability – Help team members deliver on their commitments by removing obstacles, enabling focus, and holding them accountable in a fair, constructive way.
  • Culture & Connection – Foster an environment of trust, transparency, and collaboration where people feel motivated, respected, and engaged.
  • Advocacy & Support – Act as the voice of their team in leadership forums, ensuring that concerns, achievements, and needs are represented.

  • Experience in agile processes
  • Experience in IT project management or software development

  • Communication: be able to translate business and process/architectural/mechanical engineering needs to designs and solutions

  • Reliability: get the work done and be there for others to do the same
  • Solution-focused: the ability to work through complex problems by maintaining focus on the purpose of the task
  • Confidence to take decisions in situations when there is not enough information available
  • Humility in admitting being wrong and learning from it
