About the Role

Position Summary
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and leading month-end and year-end close processes. This role manages accounting staff, supports business operations, and partners with leadership to ensure the organization's financial health and compliance.
Key Responsibilities • Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
• Coordinate external audits and support tax compliance requirements
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports for accuracy
• Partner with department leaders to support business objectives and operational decisions
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Skills • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage
• Financial statement preparation and analysis
• Process improvement and internal controls experience
• Audit and compliance management
• Project management and team leadership

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
