Required Qualifications - Demonstrated expertise is required for teaching in the discipline associated with appointment as an adjunct faculty member; expertise is normally demonstrated by one or more of the following: Master's degree in nursing or Bachelor's degree in nursing with Master's degree in a health or education related field Unencumbered Washington Registered Nurse license, or eligible for licensure Current healthcare provider CPR certification Excellent interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated ability to apply a responsive and flexible approach that is supportive to the needs including universal access of our students, faculty staff and the public.
Preferred Qualifications - Five or more years recent clinical experience Master's level course work in nursing education One or more years of prior experience teaching in a clinical, laboratory, or simulated learning environment Experience working with Canvas or another learning management system
