Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the Information Security team in planning, executing, and delivering IT security initiatives. This is a hands-on role requiring a technical project manager with cybersecurity ("security shop") experience who will actively manage projects-not just observe. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the team, driving execution, anticipating risks, and ensuring successful delivery of complex initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Actively lead and manage projects end-to-end, ensuring timely and successful delivery
Track project status, monitor progress, and provide clear updates to stakeholders
Identify, escalate, and resolve issues proactively
Develop a strong understanding of project scope, timelines, and dependencies
Serve as a key partner to stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor ("project manager whisperer")
Be an integral part of the team, contributing to both planning and execution
Forecast potential risks/issues and communicate them effectively with mitigation strategies
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines
Create, assign, and manage tasks across project teams
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, leadership, and stakeholders
Ensure adherence to EPMO standards, project charters, and required documentation. Coach teams on project management processes and best practices
Facilitate status meetings, reporting, and stakeholder communication
Drive audit remediation efforts, including identifying issues, defining tasks, and ensuring resolution
