Tactical and strategic goals will revolve around inventory, scheduling and ERP optimization.This position will have multi-site responsibility and will report to the VP of Supply Chain.Daily your responsibilities will include:
- Fostering a production environment that is focused on supply, quality, efficiency and safety initiatives
- Overseeing buying raw materials, packaging and some MRP purchasing from established vendors
- Evaluating and optimizing the production plan
- Reviewing forecasts and establishing schedules while ensuring that plans are being met
- Driving inventory management with the goal of meeting and exceeding KPIs
- Establishing best practices and consistency within the focus group
- Aligning forecasts with demands
- Overseeing the teams projects while managing your own supply chain related projects
- Troubleshooting and completing analysis in order to find department improvements
- Executing strategic and tactical plans for the department
- Establishing yourself as the local supply chain expert for the team
- Other duties as directed by management
Candidates should be comfortable with daily floor walk throughs. Candidates should be energetic, flexible and enjoy troubleshooting. This position will require strong leadership skills, change management abilities and the willingness to hold your ground while supporting your team. The qualified individual will be passionate about continuous improvement and improving processes and Lean initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS for the Supply Chain Manager: 1. Bachelor's degree is highly preferred; experience will be considered in lieu of degree
2. Depending on education, at least 3-5 years in a similar supply chain manufacturing management position
3. Experience overseeing others
4. Strong background in scheduling and inventory
5. Experience with ERP optimization
6. Strong experience executing continuous improvement initiatives
7. Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint and Excel
Skills preferred but NOT required: 1. Formal Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications
2. Experience overseeing direct and indirect reports
3. Power BI experience
4. SAP
5. Data analytics
