About the Role

Accountant LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accountant to support a broad range of general accounting activities. This hands-on position will assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, close processes, accounts payable, financial analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general ledger accounting, solid Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This position is 100% onsite and will pay between $65K and $80K annually. This is a temp to hire opportunity with the intention of hiring a long term employee. Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and record journal entries
  • Complete monthly balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Process complex intercompany accounts payable transactions
  • Review payable activity for sales tax, use tax, coding accuracy, and supporting documentation
  • Research discrepancies and resolve accounting or payment-related issues
  • Process employee travel and expense reports in accordance with established policies
  • Review and reconcile transactions between affiliated entities
  • Maintain accurate and complete general ledger records
  • Assist with audit requests and financial reporting activities
  • Analyze financial information and investigate unusual account variances
  • Use Excel to organize, reconcile, and evaluate accounting data
  • Partner with internal departments to obtain accurate and timely financial information
  • Perform purchase order and inventory reconciliations
  • Support additional accounting projects and process improvements as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least three years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
  • Experience supporting monthly and annual close processes
  • Previous exposure to intercompany accounting is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including lookup formulas and data analysis tools
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines independently
  • Experience working with an ERP or similar accounting system is preferred
  • Previous audit support or multi-entity accounting experience is a plus

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $78,000.00 per year
