Job Description Summary
Duties
Assignment(s) may vary among Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) instruction and/or continuing education instruction.Instruction of topics in Law Enforcement (and Law Enforcement related topics) is needed as well as providing hands-on instruction in some specialty courses.
Proficiency Testing at the end of the blocks of instruction may be needed. Evaluation of learning requirements is ongoing.
Minimum Requirements
1. NC General Instructor Certification including Probationary General Instructors or Professional Lecturer Certified Instructors. Instructor Certification is granted through the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training and Standards Commission and/or the North Carolina Sheriff's Education and Training and Standards Commission.
