Job Summary

The Client is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNowDeveloper to support ongoing ServiceNow platform development, enhancement, and implementation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, ITSM, CSM, workflow automation, integrations, Service Catalog, and Service Portal/Employee Center. This role requires participation in ServiceNow implementation projects and the ability to work independently while collaborating with technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy ServiceNow solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Service Catalog items, workflows, and Flow Designer automations.
  • Enhance and support Service Portal / Employee Center capabilities.
  • Configure and maintain Knowledge Management structures and governance.
  • Support full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations, module deployments, and migrations.
  • Develop and maintain integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and performance analytics.
  • Develop technical documentation, processes, and knowledge articles.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow Development and Administration experience.
  • Experience participating in ServiceNow implementation projects.
  • Strong experience with:
    • ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Request & Catalog Management)
    • Customer Service Management (CSM)
  • Expertise in:
    • Client Scripts
    • Business Rules
    • UI Policies
    • Workflows
    • Flow Designer
    • Service Catalog
    • Service Portal / Employee Center
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Knowledge of CMDB and HRSD modules.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and Change Management.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Higher Education or Government environments.
  • ServiceNow Certifications:
    • Certified System Administrator (CSA)
    • Certified Application Developer (CAD)
    • Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM or CIS-CSM)
    • Required skills:
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices, workflows, customization, Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, and integration protocols.
  • Must have direct, hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow or serving as an active member of a core ServiceNow implementation team
  • Strong technical knowledge and implementation experience with ServiceNow ITSM and CSM.
    Deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices, workflows, customization, Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, and integration protocols.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks, change management, and continuous process improvement activities
