Position - Flexo Press Plate Production Job Location - Appleton, WI Starting Date - Immediate Employment Term - Regular, Temp to hire Employment Type - Full-Time Work Hours - 2nd shift position (12 noon to 8:30pm) but training on 1st 7am - 3:30 for the first few months Starting Pay - $18 starting wage - increase to $18.50 when hired on.Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus Required Education - HSED Required Experience - 6 months to one year related experience or training Responsibilities
- Ensures accurate, consistent, and timely completion of high quality basic to intermediate level production of conventional and liquid Flexo plates which conform to set technical specification
- Prepare printing plates for mounting
- Mount printing plates in register as required to meet client's specs
- Perform and record quality control checks
- Pack and dispatch plates to correct destination. Record all dispatch details.
- Run agreed routine calibration checks.
- Ensure optimum performance of equipment and quickly report any equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure that all time entries are accurate and up-to-date and all material usage is recorded.
Qualifications - 6 months to one year related experience or training
- Experience in Graphics Arts industry (e.g. Design Studio/Agency environment) or related field in manufacturing (i.e. Printing, Pre Press) a plus
