Job Description: Curry College is seeking a dynamic and experienced entrepreneur to join our faculty as an Associate Lecturer in our Entrepreneurship program. We are committed to providing our students with practical, real-world knowledge and skills to thrive in the ever-evolving entrepreneurial landscape.
Responsibilities: - Build and teach courses on topics such as fundamentals of entrepreneurship, identifying opportunities, developing business ideas, understanding the entrepreneurial mindset and business model generation
- Mentor and advise students on their startup ideas and business plans.
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications: - Significant experience as a successful entrepreneur with a proven track record of launching and growing businesses.
- Strong understanding of current entrepreneurial best practices and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Master's degree or higher in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications: - Prior teaching or mentoring experience is a plus.
Salary: $3,735 per 3 credit course
*Please note: Eligibility for promotion to Lecturer and an increased rate of compensation are negotiated between the College and the Curry College AAUP.
