A successful curriculum developer will have hands-on aerospace or advanced manufacturing technician experience and will work closely with Correlation One's Learning Experience Design team and employer subject-matter experts to ensure curriculum aligns with validated skill requirements. The ideal candidate is an excellent educator with experience training adult learners of varied (including beginner) backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop lessons, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises (including kit-based virtual labs) that cover foundational skills for aerospace technicians.
  • Iterate on curriculum based on feedback from employer SMEs, ensuring content stays aligned with current aerospace industry standards, tooling, and certification pathways (e.g., OSHA 10, GD&T, IPC J-STD-001 prep)
  • Collaborate with other curriculum developers and Peer Review lessons, leaving feedback for improvements
  • Review lessons and QA exercises, documenting any changes in QA Documentation.
  • (if necessary) Weekly and ad hoc meetings: Participate in weekly meetings with the C1 content developer to ensure the team is on track to prepare all curriculum and related materials, answer questions, discuss any relevant decisions, etc.
  • Deploy content on the platform (training will be provided)
Your Expertise
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or related technical environments (Structures, Assembly & Integration, or Composites preferred)

  • Familiarity with technician-level skills aligned to aerospace roles, including blueprint reading, precision measurement tools, and hands-on work (e.g., drilling/fastening, system assembly, torque application, or composite layup/bonding)
  • Experience working from written work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality specifications in a production or aerospace environment
  • Experience with aerospace safety and quality standards (e.g., OSHA, 5S, FOD)
  • 3+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or technical writing — bonus for technical or vocational training contexts
  • Experience teaching, training, or mentoring adult learners in technical subjects
