Job Description What You Will Be Doing:
Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, estate, and nonprofit tax returns.
Handle Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120/1120S, 706, 709, and 990 returns.
Complete accounting write-ups and bookkeeping adjustments.
Prepare sales tax and light payroll tax filings.
Work directly with clients to collect tax documentation and answer tax-related questions.
Utilize UltraTax software for tax preparation and review, where applicable.
Support tax planning, compliance, and client deliverables during busy tax seasons.
Collaborate closely with partners and accounting staff to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
Experience You Will Need:
Experience working within a small to mid-sized public accounting firm.
Hands-on experience with corporate, partnership, fiduciary, estate, and individual tax returns.
Experience with Forms 706 & 709 strongly preferred.
Experience with Forms 1041 and 990 highly preferred.
Experience handling write-ups, sales tax, and payroll tax filings.
UltraTax experience is a major plus.
Strong organizational, communication, and client management skills.
Ability to independently manage multiple deadlines during tax season.
CPA designation is not required.
