About the Role

Help

You will supervise, manage, and direct a team of functional civilian personnel experts engaged in policy development, program planning, program administration, program assessment of Department of the Navy's (DoN) wide scope and impact.

You will analyze new laws, regulations, directives, and policy issuance to determine impact and need for new/ revised policy statements or guidance.

You will serve as the principal advisor to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy, Civilian Personnel (DASN CP) and serve as staff consultant and advisor to OCHR and key DoN managers concerning the directed programs.

You will oversee the implementation of OCHR corporate strategy for effective DoN workforce programs.

You will represent DoN in dealing with Department of War (DoW), other Federal agencies and groups concerning with policy and program issues.

You will conduct and/or initiate analytical studies of problem situations to alleviate adverse conditions which may affect mission accomplishment.

You will perform a full range of supervisory duties, accomplish the full range of personnel management functions and ensure that equal opportunity goals and objectives are achieved.
