Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 (Fully Onsite)
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 (DOE)
Type: Direct Hire
Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team in Fort Lauderdale. This is a fully onsite, direct hire opportunity with a stable and growing company. The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger support.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping functions for the organization
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments
- Handle accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash applications, and collections follow-up
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain and update general ledger entries
- Assist with month-end close, including accruals and journal entries
- Prepare financial reports and support internal reporting needs
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with company procedures
- Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed
Qualifications:- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
- Strong background in AP, AR, and reconciliations
- Experience with general ledger and month-end processes preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
- Strong Excel skills (data entry, basic formulas, reconciliations)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment
Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
