About the Role

Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 (Fully Onsite)
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 (DOE)
Type: Direct Hire

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team in Fort Lauderdale. This is a fully onsite, direct hire opportunity with a stable and growing company. The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping functions for the organization
  • Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments
  • Handle accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash applications, and collections follow-up
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Maintain and update general ledger entries
  • Assist with month-end close, including accruals and journal entries
  • Prepare financial reports and support internal reporting needs
  • Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with company procedures
  • Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
  • Strong background in AP, AR, and reconciliations
  • Experience with general ledger and month-end processes preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Strong Excel skills (data entry, basic formulas, reconciliations)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment
Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
