About the Role

Sr Director of Partnerships

Later is the leading influencer marketing company powered by AI and data. We help brands and agencies drive measurable growth through our all-in-one offering: Later Influence (influencer strategy and campaign services), Later Social (social media management),and Mavely (creator commerce).

As Sr. Director of Partnerships, you'll be responsible for building, scaling, and leading revenue-driving relationships with mid-market and enterprise brands and agencies. You'll combine consultative solution selling with deep expertise in the influencer and creator economy, helping clients unlock the full potential of Later's platform and services. This role is equal parts hunter and farmer: driving new client acquisition while expanding and strengthening strategic partnerships.

What You'll Be Doing:
Strategy
  • Own and execute a comprehensive strategy to acquire new mid-market and enterprise accounts while significantly growing wallet share within existing clients.
  • Position Later as a trusted, data-driven partner at the executive level across influencer marketing, creator commerce, and social media.
  • Leverage market insights, client feedback, and competitive intelligence to influence go-to-market strategy, pricing, and product direction.
  • Identify and pursue high-impact opportunities that accelerate revenue growth and market expansion.
Technical / Execution
  • Independently identify, prospect, and qualify high-value brands and agencies, with a focus on complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
  • Lead senior-level consultative discovery conversations, shaping client vision and aligning Later's solutions to strategic business objectives.
  • Deliver high-impact platform demos and executive-level proposals that showcase Later's AI- and data-powered differentiation.
  • Own complex negotiations, contract structuring, and deal strategy to successfully close and expand enterprise partnerships.
  • Maintain a rigorous and accurate sales pipeline, demonstrating strong forecasting discipline and operational leadership.
Team / Collaboration
  • Act as a cross-functional leader, partnering closely with Marketing, Strategy, Product, and Customer Success to deliver a seamless, high-value client experience.
  • Serve as a voice of the customer, bringing actionable insights and trends to inform product roadmap and service innovation.
  • Contribute to and elevate sales playbooks, frameworks, and best practices; mentor peers and help raise overall team performance.
Research / Best Practices
  • Stay ahead of trends in influencer marketing, creator commerce, and digital advertising, translating insights into strategic opportunities.
  • Leverage Later's AI and data capabilities to deliver measurable, outcome-driven recommendations to clients.
  • Continuously refine and evolve sales strategies, processes, and approaches to maximize efficiency, scalability, and impact.

We are committed to building an inclusive, supportive place for you to do the best and most rewarding work of your career. If you identify with any of the following, we encourage you to apply!

  • 7–10+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, ideally in SaaS, media, or influencer marketing.
  • Consistent track record of closing complex, enterprise-level deals and expanding strategic partnerships.
  • Experience selling into senior stakeholders within marketing, brand, or media teams at Fortune 1000 companies and agencies.
  • Deep understanding of influencer marketing, social media, and affiliate/creator commerce ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead consultative, solutions-driven sales processes with executive stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen with a data-driven and strategic mindset.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly autonomous operator who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
How You Work:
  • Driven by Impact: You deliver results that matter—prioritizing high-value work, meeting deadlines, and adapting quickly while keeping outcomes clear.
  • Strategic & Customer-Centric: You anticipate risks and opportunities, connect decisions to long-term growth, and build trust through proactive insights.
  • Curious & Growth-Oriented: You seek knowledge, ask sharp questions, and apply learnings fast—challenging the status quo with a mindset of improvement.
  • Collaborative & Resilient: You thrive in change by staying resourceful, solution-focused, and positive—removing roadblocks, sharing insights, and keeping morale high.
  • Accountable & Honest: You own your work, hold yourself and others to a high bar, and use transparent feedback to drive growth.
  • Emotionally Intelligent: You build trust through empathy and collaboration, foster inclusion, and inspire others with grit, optimism, and integrity.
Our Approach to Compensation:

We take a market-based & data-driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. We evaluate compensation bi-annually, including performance and market-related factors.

Our salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the geographic location of our job posting. Compensation for some roles is structured as On Target Earnings (OTE = base + commission/variable) while for others it is structured as Salary only.

To comply with local legislation and ensure transparency, we share salary ranges on all job postings. Skills, experience and other factors help determine the final salary we offer which may vary from the original range posted.

Additionally, all permanent team members are eligible to participate in various benefits plans as part of their overall compensation package.

Salary Range:

$285k - $350k OTE

*Co-op team members, independent contractors, and freelancers are not eligible for company benefits.
