Business Services & Consulting

About the Role

About Us:

We are an NYC-based creative agency that partners with category-defining tech companies to engineer viral product launches and fundraise announcements across X (Twitter) and LinkedIn.

Our campaigns consistently generate millions of views, combining high-endcreative production with aggressive distribution strategies.

We're growing quickly (30+ clients/month and scaling), and are looking for someone to take ownership of the financial operations backbone of the company.

The Role:

We're looking for a Financial Operations Associate to own the day-to-day movement of money across the business. This is not a traditional accounting role.

You will be responsible for:
  • making sure we get paid on time
  • making sure vendors are paid correctly
  • giving leadership clear visibility into where money is being made and lost
You'll work closely with leadership and our external bookkeeping team (via QuickBooks), but internally you are the owner of financial operations.

What You'll Do:

Client invoicing and Collections:
  • Own the full invoicing process from creation to payment
  • Ensure all invoices are sent accurately and on time
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices and manage collections
  • Build systems to reduce late payments and improve cash flow
Vendor Payments (AP)
  • Process payments for influencers, contractors, and agency partners
  • Track all outgoing payments and ensure accuracy
  • Coordinate approvals and maintain organized payout records
Financial Tracking & Reporting
  • Maintain clean and organized financial data (in coordination with bookkeeping team)
Track:
  • revenue by client
  • cost per project
  • overall profitability
  • Deliver simple, clear monthly financial reports to leadership
Margin & Cost Analysis
  • Help track profitability across clients and campaigns
  • Identify where margins are being lost
  • Improve how we track project-level costs over time
What We're Looking For:
  • 1-4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Comfortable owning collections and following up on payments
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Able to build systems, not just follow them
  • Clear communicator (especially when dealing with clients and vendors)
Bonus:
  • Experience working at an agency or service-based business
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, Mercury, Slash
  • Experience tracking margins or project profitability
  • Basic understanding of cash flow or forecasting
What Success Looks Like
  • Invoices go out on time, every time
  • Cash is collected quickly and consistently
  • Vendor payments are accurate and organized
  • Leadership has clear visibility into margins and profitability
  • Financial operations run smoothly without bottlenecks
