Primary Role:A TMSA teacher has the right mindset and skills to succeed in an environment of high expectations while also being a true team player. Teachers demonstrate the competencies, energy, and positive attitude needed to encourage and teach all students in their academic and social preparedness within a virtual learning environment.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
Current North Carolina teaching license, or be in the process of obtaining one
Prior teaching experience is preferred.
Virtual experience is a requirement.
Travel may be required between offices.
Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Knows and understands the NC State Standard Course of Study
Delivers daily synchronous (live) instruction and asynchronous learning experiences
Establishes a safe, structured, and engaging virtual classroom environment
Manages student behavior and engagement in an online setting
Participates in MTSS processes to support all learners
Demonstrates Leader in Me leadership behaviors
Collaborates with staff to build a professional learning community
Differentiates instruction to meet diverse student needs
Uses data to drive instruction and assess student progress
Demonstrates strong technology and digital instruction competency
Builds relationships with students and families
Supports STEAM and real-world learning applications
