About the Role
PlantIT Group is hiring! This is a direct hire/FTE for a Transportation Engineer P4 in Orlando for a prominent engineering firm. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting, high-profile projects. Enjoy rewarding project challenges and an opportunity to become an important part of a well-established technical group. About the Role Transportation Engineer responsibilities include:
Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.
The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
Project engineering and management.
Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management.
Minimum of 5 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design. Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of FDOT design and standards is highly preferred.
PE license in FL.
Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage.
