Hardware Engineer

Job Description

For the strengthening of our Hardware team, we are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join our Shared R&D Center Europe in Travagliato (Brescia). The resource will contribute to the development of advanced electronic solutions for high-level industrial applications, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with international standards.

Responsibilities

  • Designing electronic architectures and creating electrical schematics (Altium or System Capture Allegro)
  • Designing microcontroller-based hardware and selecting components
  • Sizing and developing power circuits using simulation tools (LTSpice, MATLAB/Simscape)
  • Performing hardware validation tests and supporting EMC certification activities
  • Preparing technical documentation (specifications, reports, risk analysis, bill of materials)
  • Supporting industrialization activities
  • Collaborating with firmware, mechanics, quality, and product engineering
  • Supporting troubleshooting and continuous product improvement
Qualifications
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Automation
  • In-depth knowledge of power and analog electronics
  • Experience with LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink or Simscape
  • Ability to test, validate, and debug hardware
  • Knowledge of industrial standards (EN60204-1, EN61800-5-1 or EN60664-1 for insulation distances);
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety is a plus

Soft Skills

  • Precision, rigor, and autonomy,
  • Problem-solving orientation
  • Availability for occasional travel
