BigRio is a Boston-headquartered technology consulting firm specializing in AI/ML, data engineering, and custom software solutions with a strong focus on healthcare and regulated industries. We partner with healthcare providers, call centers, and enterprises to deliver cutting-edge, AI-driven solutions that improve patient experiences and streamline operations.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Epic Integration Analyst with deep expertise in Epic Bridges and FHIR. This role will focus on integration, interoperability, and data exchange across clinical, financial, and operational Epic modules. Familiarity with Epic Resolute Billing and Epic Cheers CRM is considered a strong plus, but not required. The ideal candidate has hands-on Epic integration experience and thrives in cross-functional collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Epic Integration initiatives with a strong focus on Bridges and FHIR.
  • Configure, maintain, and support data exchange workflows between Epic and external systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (clinical, revenue cycle, IT, and care management teams) to ensure integrations align with operational needs.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot integration-related issues; implement effective and scalable solutions.
  • Participate in system testing, upgrades, integration, and go-live activities.
  • Provide technical support, documentation, and training for end-users and support teams.
  • (Nice-to-Have) Support Epic Resolute Billing workflows (claims, remittance, denial management) and Epic Cheers CRM functionalities (patient outreach, campaigns, communications).
Qualifications
  • Epic Certification required: Bridges (FHIR knowledge strongly preferred).
  • 3–7+ years of Epic integration experience (Bridges, FHIR, HL7).
  • Strong knowledge of interoperability standards, healthcare workflows, and data exchange best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Prior experience in healthcare provider organizations or consulting firms preferred.

Epic Resolute Billing and Cheers certifications or experience are a strong plus.
