About the Role

Are you a driven, entrepreneurial sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment where you can truly own and build a business? This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact role with significant white space, strong leadership support, and meaningful investment behind the brand. Myclient, a privately held, high-growth wellness company, is seeking a Director of Sales to lead expansion across key retail channels and play a critical role in accelerating the next phase of growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive new business development and expand distribution across Food, Drug, and Mass channels
  • Own key customer relationships (including regional grocery, natural, and mass accounts) and deliver against revenue growth targets
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, assortment plans, and customer-specific selling stories
  • Build compelling presentations using syndicated data (e.g., SPINS, eCommerce analytics) to influence buyers
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, category management, and leadership to align on growth priorities
  • Manage broker relationships effectively while maintaining ownership of strategy and execution
  • Identify white space opportunities and lead expansion into new accounts and geographies
  • Travel regularly to meet with customers and drive in-market execution
Ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven success in CPG sales with a track record of opening new accounts and growing distribution
  • Experience across Food, Drug, Mass, and/or Natural channels (supplements or wellness category a plus)
  • Strong builder mindset with the ability to operate independently in a lean environment
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data and insights to create persuasive customer presentations
  • Experience managing brokers while maintaining full accountability for business results
  • High energy, self-starter mentality with a proactive, results-driven approach
  • Willingness to travel and be customer-facing; ideally based in the Southeast or open to regional travel
