Job Responsibilities
Under the responsibility of the director of the pools, you will implement maintenance actions in the pools and premises, within the framework of a cleaning and hygiene plan, and carry out specific technical controls and measurements (water quality analyses…). Main activities:
- Maintenance actions in pools and premises (handling and dosing of chlorine products in particular)
- Control the maintenance, cleaning, disinfection, hygiene of equipment and materials
- Control the physical, chemical and microbiological qualities of pool waters in accordance with hygiene and safety standards applicable to pools
- Store and prepare treatment products
- Clean sports surfaces and facilities in compliance with current standards
- Maintain water treatment facilities (filters, chlorine bottles, softener, fresh water supply, etc.) and ambient air (ventilation)
- Ensure the operation and maintenance of the boiler room to regulate the temperature of the water and air
- Carry out first maintenance work. Welcome and ensure the safety of users
- Participate in the reception and information of users
- Participate in the execution of the Organization Plan for Surveillance and Rescue (POSS)
- Enforce the internal rules and safety instructions
- Check the signage (rules, danger signs)
- Detect anomalies in equipment and accident risks and report them to the superior hierarchical level
- Intervene quickly in case of emergency and alert the competent actors
- Report on situations and record incidents
Working conditions:
Working hours: 35 hours per week: variable between 06:00 and 22:00
Weekend work possible
Required Profile
Skills and requirements:
A training in mechanics, electrotechnics or hydraulics is advised
Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards
Ability to swim for personal safety in case of falling into a pool
Desired knowledge of technical processes of pool operation
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemical risks
Knowledge of danger signaling procedures in the context of securing the premises
Notions related to fluids and networks
Relational qualities:
Teamwork
Organization, punctuality, attendance and rigor
Public service sense
Ease of initiative and ability to report
