Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join its Dallas office in the prestigious

Position Overview
This paralegal will support up to five commercial litigators and work closely with a legal assistant in a team-oriented environment. The position handles matters from inception through trial and case resolution, with significant responsibility for discovery, document management, and litigation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, notices, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Manage heavy discovery and document production
- Organize and maintain large-scale case files and litigation databases
- Coordinate and maintain case calendars, deadlines, and filings
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis
- Review, analyze, and summarize depositions, records, and other case documents
- Investigate factual issues and assist with witness interviews and case preparation
- Support trial preparation, including exhibits, notebooks, and document management
- File pleadings and court documents in state and federal courts
- Assist attorneys with high-volume commercial and trucking litigation matters
Qualifications
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Experience in commercial litigation, trucking defense, or insurance defense strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong experience managing discovery and document-intensive matters
- Experience tracking and recording billable time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Paralegal certificate or undergraduate degree preferred
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required
Please Note
- Candidates with plaintiff personal injury backgrounds will not be considered
- Experience in commercial defense, trucking defense, or similar litigation practices is strongly preferred
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time, 40-hour work week
- Primarily in-office in the Turtle Creek area of Dallas
- Potential hybrid schedule (3 days in office / 2 days remote) after training and team approval
- Flexible work arrangements available on a case-by-case basis
- Annual billable requirement: 1,650 hours
