About the Role
Graphic Designer – AI Career Coaching Evaluator
What if your experience in the design industry could directly improve how AI supports creative careers? We're looking for experienced Graphic Designers in Seattle to evaluate and refine next-generation AI career guidance systems — ensuring they deliver advice that is accurate, practical, and truly reflective of how the design profession works.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built around your schedule. No AI experience needed — just deep expertise in graphic design and a talent for communicating career knowledge clearly.
Organization: Alignerr
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
Review career questions from graphic designers and visual creatives across a range of experience levels
Write high-quality "golden answers" that reflect expert-level career guidance within the design field
Develop objective evaluation rubrics to assess the quality of AI-generated career advice for creatives
Flag inaccurate, unrealistic, or incomplete recommendations in AI system outputs
Bring your real-world industry experience to improve AI career coaching at scale
Work independently and asynchronously — entirely on your own schedule
Who You Are
Professional experience as a Graphic Designer, Visual Designer, Brand Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar creative role
Strong understanding of design career development, portfolio strategy, and how creative hiring works — particularly in tech-adjacent and agency environments
Experience reviewing design work, mentoring creatives, or contributing to hiring decisions
Excellent written communication skills — you translate expertise into clear, actionable guidance
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to maintain quality when working independently
No prior AI or technology experience required
Nice to Have
A strong and diverse design portfolio
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or other industry-standard tools
Background working in Seattle's tech, agency, or startup design ecosystem
Art direction, creative leadership, or cross-functional team experience
Familiarity with design hiring in the Pacific Northwest and tech-driven creative industries
Why Join Us
Directly influence how AI guides the next generation of creative professionals
Fully remote and flexible — set your own hours and work from anywhere
Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work
Contribute deep professional expertise to cutting-edge AI evaluation projects
Potential for ongoing work and long-term opportunities as new projects launch
