As a service engineer, you will perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on Atlas Copco products for our customers.The work is very varied, partly because we have a very large product range, and partly because as a service engineer, you not only perform mechanical work but also electrical work.Our service engineers have access to a fully equipped service bus that is stocked overnight at home, so they can hit the road the next day with the necessary parts.
As a service engineer, you will be supported by the back office, they make the planning and based on the work orders that the engineer submits digitally, the invoice is sent to the right customer.
For this challenging and independent position, we are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with a passion for technology.Independent work and good people skills are your strengths.You have a flexible and customer-oriented attitude, can improvise, and also know what a commercial approach is.You are eager to learn and are willing to attend both internal and external training.
It is nice if you already have the necessary knowledge and experience with compressor technology or generators or (diesel) engines, but we find it even more important that you are enthusiastic and willing to learn.
Of course, you have a diploma in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or similar at a minimum mbo-4 level. In addition to mechanical knowledge, you also know the basics of electrical engineering, for example because you have taken a course in electrical switching in the past. You also have a driver's license. Finally, you are fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
