We're seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to take ownership of geotechnical engineering projects, provide technical leadership, and mentor team members while delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. This role can be based in Paducah, KY; Belleville, IL; or Brentwood, TN.
As a Geotechnical Project Engineer, you'll serve as both a technical expert and project leader, responsible for successful delivery across all phases of work.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical projects from planning through completion, including scope, budget, schedule, and deliverables
- Serve as the primary technical and project point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Perform and oversee geotechnical analyses, designs, and interpretation of field and laboratory data
- Plan and manage subsurface exploration programs and coordinate field operations and resources.
- Prepare, review, and seal professional geotechnical engineering reports
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development and client relationship efforts
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain via reciprocity)
- 5+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience
- Valid driver's license
