About the Role

Wabash, Chicago, IL Onsite 3 days per week - Anchor days at Wabash building (Tuesdays and Fridays) One anchor day at NT Naperville, IL location (Thursdays) Work hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm CST Potential Contract-to-Hire - based on: work performance, need and budget availability Job title: Solutions Architect Project Overview: Digital Platform Services teams provide diverse set of capabilities to enable Client Application teams in the areas of Application Architecture, Development Accelerators, Shared Services API for common digital functions and Digital and Document Collaboration Contractor's Role: As Solutions Architect assist Digital Platform Services team in solution design and development of cloud native applications using Java, Spring Cloud and other frameworks running on Microsoft Azure by performing the following functions • Solution and Application Architecture • Solution design using Azure resources • Hands on Application development • Ensure that the applications delivered are aligned with Enterprise Architecture standards and patterns along with meeting non-functional requirements.
Qualifications (must haves): • Experience in architecting and designing cloud native applications • Experience in Private Cloud (PCF) or Public Cloud (Azure) • DevSecOps experience • Financial Industry Experience Nice to have: • Prior Client Experience Daily Tasks & Responsibilities: • Work with various stakeholders including Infrastructure, Other Product and Application Delivery teams • Participate in Scrum activities • Perform various DevSecOps activities
