About the Role

  • Hold a valid Special Education Teacher certification (preferably for elementary K-4)
  • Experience in substantially separate classrooms or with students with therapeutic and intensive needs
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Effective classroom management strategies tailored for diverse learning needs
  • Collaborative approach with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families
  • Compassion, patience, and dedication to supporting student progress
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adapt curriculum to meet individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Implement therapeutic and behavioral interventions as required
  • Maintain accurate and timely records for student progress and compliance
  • Collaborate with classroom staff, specialists, and families to foster holistic support
