About the Role

HR Systems Administrator (ADP Specialist)

Bella Information Systems is seeking a highly capable HR Systems Administrator with deep expertise in ADP HR and payroll platforms (such as RUN Powered by ADP). This role is central to strengthening and scaling our HR technology ecosystem, ensuring our systems are accurate, compliant, efficient, and continually optimized.

This hands-on position blends HRIS administration, payroll operational knowledge, systems configuration, and cross-functional partnership. The ideal candidate enjoys building better processes, solving complex technical problems, and translating business needs into system solutions that enhance the employee experience.

You will partner closely with HR, Payroll, Accounting, and IT to support payroll accuracy, improve workflows, and maintain strong data governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator for ADP HRIS modules, including HR, payroll, time & attendance, and benefits.
  • Maintain system configuration, workflows, permissions/security roles, and data tables.
  • Monitor and perform system audits to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
  • Lead or support ADP module implementations, upgrades, integrations, and UAT testing.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, configure updates, and act as the Tier 2/3 escalation point for HR/Payroll users.
  • Understand full-cycle payroll concepts, including earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, retro adjustments, and compliance.
  • Support payroll setup, audits, reconciliations, and error resolution.
  • Partner with Payroll to maintain clean data flow between systems and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with payroll-related system configurations, documentation, and occasional processing support.
  • Evaluate current HR/Payroll processes and identify opportunities for automation, streamlining, and workflow enhancements.
  • Build or enhance processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, job changes, benefits enrollment, offboarding).
  • Provide timely and responsive support to HR partners, managers, and employees.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and IT to align systems with organizational needs.

Required Skills

  • Deep knowledge of ADP reporting tools, security roles, and system configuration.
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes—payroll, benefits, recruiting.
  • Ability to manage multi-functional projects involving HR, Payroll, and IT.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information.
  • 1-3 years of previous contract administration experience is preferred.
