Job Location - Oshkosh, WI

Work Hours (Shift) - 1st shift
Starting Pay - $25 to $30
Required Experience - At least 2 years of experience
Responsibilities - Setup and Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, or specialized grinding equipment) to perform precision machining operations.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret complex technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
- Quality Inspection: Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and bore gauges) to ensure part conformance.
- Process Optimization: Monitor machine performance, adjust offsets, change tooling, and troubleshoot minor programming or mechanical issues to maintain tight tolerances.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; perform routine daily maintenance on equipment.
Qualifications - Experience: 2+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment in a job shop or production environment (experience with precision grinding or close-tolerance machining is a strong plus).
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of G-code/M-code, tool selection, and machining speeds/feeds.
- Precision: Proven ability to hold tight tolerances (often down to ten-thousandths of an inch).
- Math Skills: Solid foundational knowledge of shop math, geometry, and blueprint interpretation.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to consistent attendance and safety.
